Something About Me -

Angie has 15 years experience as a freelance court reporter with Metropolitan. She always had an interest in the legal system and started her career as a Municipal Court clerk in KCK right out of high school. Soon after she moved to the Wyandotte County courthouse where she was the administrative assistant for several district court judges. It was during that time that she knew she wanted to be in the courtroom instead of an office and began night school towards becoming a court reporter. After completion of obtaining her degree, her interests moved towards freelancing as opposed to being an official for the courts and she has been happily employed with Metropolitan for the entirety of her court reporting career.

I love people! Court reporting allows me to meet all kinds of people from all over the world. I’ve made numerous friendships that if not for freelancing I would have never had the opportunity to get to know. I also love being a wife and mom and working for Metropolitan has afforded me the flexibility to have an exciting career yet also be there for all my son’s activities and my husband’s frequent escapes to the Ozarks. It’s the best of both worlds. The hardest part for me is staying quiet during a deposition because I love to talk.
