Something About Me -

After choosing to obtain a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri simply because there was no math involved, I developed an interest in word usage of all kinds. Several years spent in the advertising/corporate newsletter arena were fun, but when a friend introduced me to the world of court reporting, I knew that would be a unique, satisfying career. Thirty years later, I have enjoyed both the reporting side and business owner side of this crazy business!

On the personal side, there’s never a dull moment with four adult children and spouses and seven grandchildren. Bribing them with a place at Lake Lotawana has worked! We’ve enjoyed many happy weekends with the families. My husband, Wade, and I are twenty-five year season ticket holders of both the Chiefs and Royals. However, my continued devotion to the Missouri Tigers is a lonely hobby — all four kids graduated from KU!
