Something About Me –

I have been a reporter for 22 years with experience in a wide variety of subject matter including patent infringement, product liability, medical malpractice, oil and gas production and more. Before freelancing I worked as an official for the State of Kansas and the State of New York. I have national certification as a Certified Realtime Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, Registered Professional Reporter and locally with the Kansas Faster Medal.

I enjoy learning something new. Every deposition I take, I come away with some piece of knowledge. I find it fascinating to listen to what someone does for a living. Reporting gives me the opportunity to meet such a broad spectrum of individuals who are experts in their field of training or just the everyday people who make the world go around. Someone who might find my job tedious will ask why it is I do what I do. I often reply, “I receive an education every day. And a lot of those days, it’s from some pretty brilliant people.” Who else can say they got to hear the top researcher in the country speak for such a small audience?
