Something About Me -

After completing my education at McCormac College in Chicago, Illinois, I began working as a court reporter in 2000 first as an official in Illinois and then Kansas before joining the MCR team in August of 2009. I enjoy the flexibility of freelancing and meeting new people every day. I am a certified reporter in Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri and also nationally as a Registered Professional Reporter. Throughout the past several years, I have dedicated most of my free time to the advancement of the reporting profession by serving in all officer positions of the Kansas Court Reporters Association and more recently serving on committees and a task force for the National Court Reporters Association. All of my attention being focused on these concerns have inspired me to return to school for higher education and am currently attending MidAmerica Nazarene University. On a personal note, I enjoy training for horseback hunter/jumper competitions, riding my Harley-Davidson Road King, vacationing, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends.
